History and Development of Poligonsoft
Excellence in Technological Innovation for More than Three Decades.
The first version of the PoligonSoft casting quality control system (previous name – SAM LP 'Poligon') was developed in 1989 at the Central Research Institute of Materials (CIM, St. Petersburg) by order of the Ministry of Defense Industry.
It was the first commercial package in the world to implement a mathematical model for the calculation of microporosity. PoligonSoft has been successfully used in aerospace industry enterprises, where higher quality standards for castings are demanded.
For over 30 years, the system has been continuously improved, incorporating knowledge and experience accumulated during that period by leading institutes and dozens of companies in Russia and abroad.
In July 2009, the 'PoligonSoft' developer team joined the company CSoft Development.
